Duncan McConchie is a rural entrepreneur from Dumfries and Galloway and along with his wife Vicki, designed and built GG’s Yard wedding & conference venue in 2017 on the family hill farm on Scotland’s south coast.
With the aspiration to create a destination of excellence, the duo have since gone on to build 18 holiday properties, Sea View Snugs and most recently a stunning restaurant, Gather, all built to work together with wedding & conference clients.
Duncan was one of the Co-founders of SWIA, with the aim of bringing all sectors of the wedding industry in Scotland together under 1 umbrella to give them a voice at the table with government.
